Pakistani actress Laiba Khan is currently back in the spotlight through her ongoing drama Tapish, where she plays the central character Shifa. The latest development came on September 15, 2026, when Har Pal Geo released the teaser for Episode 33, continuing the increasingly complicated relationship between Shifa, Shahzer and Maaz. The official Geo material confirms Laiba Khan as Shifa alongside Muneeb Butt and Saad Qureshi.
The development is particularly relevant because Tapish remains an active television project, with new episodes continuing to attract substantial online attention. Episode 32 was released on September 15, while the Episode 33 teaser was also published that day, giving viewers another indication of where the story is heading.
What Happened in the Latest Laiba Khan Tapish Update?
The latest Laiba Khan Tapish update revolves around the release of the Episode 33 teaser. According to Har Pal Geo’s official description, Laiba Khan’s character Shifa is a responsible young woman who carries significant family responsibilities while trying to hold on to her personal dreams. Her relationship with Maaz and Shahzer is at the centre of the drama’s current conflict.
The teaser shows that Shahzer’s feelings for Shifa are becoming an increasingly important part of the storyline. The complication is that Shifa is already engaged to Maaz, who is described as Shahzer’s close friend. This creates a conflict involving friendship, love and loyalty, with the three characters now occupying the centre of the narrative.
Laiba Khan Plays Shifa in Tapish
Laiba Khan plays Shifa, one of the main characters in Tapish. The official Har Pal Geo page lists her alongside Muneeb Butt, who plays Shahzer Sultan, and Saad Qureshi, who plays Maaz. The drama is produced by Erum Binte Shahid, directed by Ahmed Bhatti and written by Rehana Aftab.
Shifa’s character is important because she is connected to both sides of the central emotional conflict. Her engagement to Maaz creates an established relationship, while Shahzer’s growing attraction introduces another layer to the story. The official Episode 33 teaser specifically asks whether Maaz will discover Shahzer’s feelings and whether Shifa and Maaz’s relationship can withstand the situation.
What Is Happening Between Shifa, Shahzer and Maaz?
The current Tapish storyline has placed Shifa between two very different relationships. Maaz is her cousin and fiancé, while Shahzer is Maaz’s close friend who develops feelings for Shifa without initially knowing the full situation. This creates the central emotional tension that the latest episodes are continuing to explore.
The official teaser does not confirm how the conflict will ultimately be resolved. Instead, it raises questions about whether Shahzer’s feelings will become known to Maaz and whether Shifa’s existing relationship with Maaz will survive the growing tension. For viewers, these unanswered questions are currently among the major story points surrounding the drama.
Tapish Episode 32 and the Latest Timeline
The latest episode before the new teaser was Tapish Episode 32, released on September 15, 2026. Har Pal Geo’s official program page lists Episode 32 alongside the preceding episodes and identifies Laiba Khan, Muneeb Butt and Saad Qureshi as the principal cast members.
The drama has maintained a regular Monday-and-Tuesday broadcast pattern. Episodes 29 and 30 were released on September 7 and 8, followed by Episodes 31 and 32 on September 14 and 15. The sequence shows that the storyline is continuing steadily rather than entering a break at this stage.

Why Laiba Khan Is Getting Attention Through Tapish
The latest attention around Laiba Khan is closely linked to her continued presence in Tapish. The drama gives her a leading role opposite Muneeb Butt, while the storyline places her character at the heart of its main emotional conflict.
The online response also demonstrates the continuing reach of the serial. Third-party tracking of YouTube activity recorded millions of views for recent Tapish episodes, while Har Pal Geo’s official YouTube channel published both Episode 32 and the Episode 33 teaser on September 15. These figures are useful as an indication of online interest, although third-party view counts can change over time.
What Is Known About Tapish So Far?
Tapish premiered on Geo Entertainment on June 1, 2026. The drama features Muneeb Butt as Shahzer Sultan, Laiba Khan as Shifa and Saad Qureshi as Maaz, supported by actors including Saba Faisal, Faran Tahir, Shermeen Ali and others.
The story centres on Shahzer, a wealthy young man whose personality and behaviour create difficulties in his relationships. His meeting with Shifa changes the direction of the story, particularly because Shifa already has a relationship with Maaz. The resulting situation brings questions of love, friendship, family expectations and personal choices into the storyline.
What Has Laiba Khan Said About Her Career Recently?
Laiba Khan has also spoken publicly about continuing her acting career after marriage. In a March 2026 appearance on ARY Digital’s Shan-e-Sahoor, she said that she planned to continue working as long as suitable projects were available. She also revealed that she had signed a new project shortly before her wedding and was busy with its shoots at the time of the interview.
That earlier statement provides useful context for her current screen presence. Rather than announcing an immediate departure from acting, Khan publicly discussed continuing with selected work. Her role in Tapish therefore represents part of her ongoing television career during 2026.
What Happens Next in Tapish?
The official Episode 33 teaser confirms that the story will continue exploring the complicated situation between Shahzer, Shifa and Maaz. It specifically raises questions about whether Maaz will discover Shahzer’s feelings and what that discovery could mean for the relationships between the three characters.
However, the official material does not confirm the eventual outcome. There is currently no basis to state that Shifa will choose one character over another or that a particular relationship will definitely end. Viewers will need to follow the upcoming episodes for confirmed developments rather than relying on speculation circulating online.
