The Pakistan Single Window (PSW) has integrated its platform with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) PakID Mobile App. The new system allows users to complete mandatory biometric verification remotely using their smartphones. It applies to PSW subscriptions, renewals and profile updates.

Previously, PSW users had to visit a NADRA e-Sahulat Centre to complete biometric verification. With the new system, eligible users can complete the process through the PakID app without visiting a centre. However, the verification remains subject to NADRA’s requirements.

What the PSW-NADRA Integration Means

The new integration removes the need for a physical visit during the PSW subscription process. Eligible users can now complete biometric verification digitally through their smartphones.

The facility is especially useful for overseas Pakistanis involved in trade-related activities. Eligible overseas users can complete their PSW biometric verification remotely. This can save them the time and expense of travelling to Pakistan for the verification process.

PSW CEO Syed Aftab Haider said the integration was introduced to better serve PSW users in Pakistan and abroad. He said remote biometric verification removes another physical step from the onboarding process and makes the service easier to access.

Both Verification Options Remain Available

PSW said both verification methods will remain available during the transition period. Users can either complete biometric verification through the PakID Mobile App or visit a NADRA e-Sahulat Centre.

The Pakistan Single Window is a digital platform that helps businesses manage cross-border trade processes through a single online system. It is designed to make trade-related procedures easier and more efficient.

NADRA’s PakID app is part of the authority’s wider digital services. NADRA said in July that PakID received the Citizen Experience of the Year Award at the 2026 Public Sector Digital Transformation Awards.

The PSW-NADRA integration is expected to make biometric verification easier for businesses and eligible overseas Pakistanis. It also reduces the need for physical visits. Users will still need to meet NADRA’s applicable verification requirements.
